Congratulations

Fantastic news as two of our students pass their black belt grading. Joe Holdsworth achieved his 3rd Dan (sandan) and Bjorn Nielsen achieved his 1st Dan (shodan). Congratulations and well deserved after many years hard work and dedication.

Competition Success

At the SKU National all styles Karate Competition, Thomas Oakley (aged 10) gained 1st place and a well deserved gold medal. Joseph Pearce (age 9) achieved 2nd place and a hard fought silver medal. Congratulations we are all proud of you. They showed off their medals to the ninja class and inspired our younger members.

At the 2011 Wharfedale Children’s championships, congratulations to Thomas Oakley, Alex Jackson, William Quinney, Edward Fieldhouse and Cameron Lennie who all won medals. Well done to Oliver Colenutt and Jack Howley who competed for the first time and although narrowly missed out on the medals showed great spirit.
